Upon arrival to the top, it was decided that we would not go on a more or less plains with no snow, but that this time Adis and Mart will step on a Big Mountain line. Experience with hike Mart has had from New Year's Eve when I was completely destroyed from the fact that in the essence there is nothing to ride. After sitting in a restaurant the sun suddenly come after 15 minutes out and Mart said "up there, we are gonna hike" showed through a window somewhere on top the saddle below the summit Tristinger. I looked at him properly, check what they had actually poured in his glass but everything was "all right" and so we agreed that after about 40 minutes I ll ride somewhere on the opposide side and then make a picture. And it came to pass after about 45 minutes Mart was at that place. Suddenly a cloud began approach si I took a radio and began to scream into it, either going, that this cloud ... Martin had at that time pulse about 250 and as he said to me  he was just a short walk from a heart attack because the hike was really taugh. Anyway the cloud would destry everything so he put on his skis and went down to ...

And so we have actually found that this side of the mountain is quite easily accessible and on a the New Year day we went there again but this time with Adis. I found a better place to take picture from and boys went a bit higher on the travez along the mountains. Access  was more easy because Mart mad that traverz previous day and the sun had no problem with the clouds. So the light was slightly better than Mart’s yesterday run. After hitting that run we packed up and went into our apertment, where we finished our drinks ...

New year + 1 day

Schmitenhohe is a hill near Kaprun. It is situated at the shopping center toward the village of Kaprun and on the other side town Zell am Zee. It's a classic commercial center for slope riders and for all those who loves just the groomed slopes. Arrivals from the parking lot directly without unnecessary passages are perhaps the only advantage for a freerider.

We choosed this resort because it was the closest resort from our apertment and also the day of our departure finally started dumping so it was the right choice to feel the fresh pow as soon as possible. Overall, I am in the resort secodn time and I must say there is really nothing much for a real freerider.  Unless of course there is 1m of fresh pow, but it that case you can obviously ride everywhere.

In our case, we were happy for any fresh snow, so I rode north side of the mountain, from 2000-1650 m 350 meters is not much, but we were hungry for the pow. Snow was not so good, but the were increasing every ride until when I was sent my skies down to the stream. After that stream I thought I got my skies without edges coz I hit so many rock and stones.

After 3 hours of photographing each other I said good bye to Martin and set out on a 10 hours journey from Kaprun ( in the tunnel you can not sleep when tunnel fans are on full trottle :¨-)   ).
