At least Mr. Krakonos (magician of Krnonose moutains) has learned common sense and sent to us a couple of powder centimeters. Because the powder situation in Krkonose was almost tragic. We got about 70 – 80 cm of pure powder. So the powder heaven could begin. During the Friday there were real fresh powder, so we almost could not ski. But during the Saturday we enjoyed a real powder orgy.

From Špindl to Medvedin leads a express four chair-lift and at 490 meters of the crossfall and the upper station at 1235 meters offers unrivaled best treeride not only in Krkonose. Is it possible to ride in the Medvedin either south or north. South involves the terrain between red and blue track to Misecky roll with the blue piste from the Misecky to Spindleruv Mlyn. It is essentially a forest and clearings, gentle terrain. Ideal for those 20 to 30 cm of powder. When it is more so now it is not possible to even ride. North part carries everything right of the lift, or down to the black track to Labsky Dul. Here are some options with forest and clearings. The terrain is steep enough, so as much powder as possible is welcome. At the bottom right is the perfect playground with lots of rocks, trees, small valleys, and so on. There is a need for at least the meter of snow and more. They reported 130 cm, which can be trusted. Access is a cross country route Be Fit, which is usually at least somehow adjusted so that the roll ala skating chairlift. The deeper into Labak, the more fit, you must be :-) These are the two main areas, which in essence can run over again.
