In the bigining of arranging this trip I had a bad feeling that something will go wrong and I was right. In the afternoon I picked a cell phone with my brother on the line telling me that the battery in our cas is out. So after couple of calls I finally got the charger so problem solved. With calm in the evening about 9 we were loading our gear and setting out to our destination.

Its 27.1 2009 and our group includes me, my brother and Philip "fiďas" Paseka rolls to direction Salzburgerland Austria. After about 8 hours of driving we finally reached the destination and were welcomed by the rest of the party mean Knybel brothers Knyblové, Brozek brothers,  Mark Capica, John Sova, Martin  Klika. Weather forecast is for the next couple of days clear, tons snow and no clouds. I need to make a little note here that we always stop in front of Kliko’s (Martin Klika) apartment close to Zell am See and banging on the window. When Klikos climbs up he usually starts saying lets go and shred the pow guys with a lot of enthusiasm!!

Anyway after planning to finally leave from Kliko’s apartment I turned the key to igniton mode and nothing happened. The battery was obviously in worse condition than we all thought but luckily thx to huge Brozek brothers van where we all jumped in we finally set out. The First day we spent in the resort Rauris, which you cauld have read in previous article.

I'd like to dedicate this article to resort which was planned for the next day and that is Weissee. Path to this highly situated resort is very simple. Go thru Zell am See to the city Uttendorf, and there just follow the signs which will take you to Weissee resort. Than follow the road which is full of serpentines to height of 1480m elevation place known as Enzingerboden. There are few hotels and a purely Czech pension. From this spot we took a gondola which took us to elevation of 2315 m. What is interesting is that in this elevations is situated a hotel called Rudolfshütte with 72 rooms. There is only one chairlift going to towards the saddle from the hotel area. While we were on the way up we noticed a lot of  untouched terrains but also with big efford to reach. What I have to add is that Weissee is a popular skialp and climbing resort. There is a rock and ice climbing opportunity.

But back to our group. Well, we all climbed into the saddle at a height of (2515 m) between the peaks Medelzkopf (2760 m) and Tauernkogel (2683). Al the way upon the cahir lift I was holding my breath.  The the surroundings was just spectacular. Untouched powder, the amount of rocks with super jump off spots, just paradise. All uf us leap off the lift asap and cut short each other, where actually go off, how etc. Well finally we set off to the little peak where was a better point of view and made better decision where to go. In the distance, we reveal tip of dominating  Grossglockner (3798 m) mountain. Klikos is not hesitating and taking out the camera and right away shooting the best shots ever. Picking the first lines to ride and go. Initially cautious little drops from the rocks turned into virgin deep powder. The avalanche level is high, but surprisingly hill holds like nailed, but we were carefull anyway.

Knybel brothers and Mara decided to kill big massif with perfect cover on it. Everyone is closely watching them, mainly due to the increased level of avalanche. In the meanwhile we hit several jumps where Klikos cant catch up. After couple of shoots we saw guys intterpting they way up and with style crusing down to our level and of course not avoiding cliff with about 10m of flying in the air. We learned about the massive crack in the snow, which could cause huge avalanche. Well guys have some experience in situations like this and choosed safe way down. After joining us we continued in our line where Knybel brothers hittig another massive clif with about 15m long and 5sec in the air.:) And for sure with perfect landing.  The rest group is  humbled and started hitting small jumps and cliffs and enjoying the pow and have a fun what is all about. Klikos is satisfied coz have pics like this is priceless.

Tired after full day of riding we revealed on the way to the parking lot planty of  woods with little jumps  which offer a complete flow rip.  Arcade pillows full of pow under my feet dispersed like in Freeride dream. The entire descent to the valley has quite a few killing zones which could be really taugh so I gave little relax time to my lags.This resort offers many, many options for a total big mountain freeride. Beautiful and long lines in the wild nature, which are unfortunately accesible by hiking.
